Attackers could hack the Eltima’s download servers and then distributed two applications, Folx and Elmedia Player, with a malware.
Impact
It appears that the impact of the attack ranges in the hundreds of users.
Type of compromise
The attackers were able to compromise the publishing infrastructure for Eltima, the software vendor for the Elmedia player and Folx.
